MercyBlue is a talented band that takes on some of the best music in the world and makes it their own.  They have fun taking standard changes and infuse personal influences ranging from blues, rock, jazz and country making it great listening and fun for the audience and the band alike.

Dexter O'Neal and Funk Yard - LIVE! @ Brasky's Bar & Grill
Dexter O’Neal began the long road of touring, recording, and working his way into the industry.  He spent 5 years in Austin Texas and 5 years in Philadelphia PA. Being able to sing throughout the country and connecting with audiences has brought him the greatest joy.
He learned my craft by ear, which has been a tremendous asset. However, as an adult, he pursued the academic side of music to balance his knowledge. But he couldn’t leave well enough alone. He decided to see what I could do with a guitar. Turns out he enjoyed playing it as much as he did singing.
He has opened for Ashford and Simpson, The Temptations, Average White Band, Boosty Collins,  and Reggie Calloway (Midnight Star).  He has had musical encounters (which means he has sung with or for once) with Jerry Garcia, Phil Perry, Patti Labelle, Jeff Beck Band and numerous more.
